Andria Kouloumi is a Cyprus-based lawyer in the Corporate and Commercial team at Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC. She has been with the firm since 2017 and is based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Andria focuses on corporate, commercial, and maritime matters.

She is frequently engaged to assist and advise on various maritime and shipping-related issues. Andria represents leading shipping companies in Cyprus, acting as their legal advisor on a wide range of legal and corporate matters, including acquisitions, reorganizations, and restructurings.

She is also responsible for the registration of vessels under the Cyprus flag and the re-flagging of vessels to foreign flags. Additionally, Andria handles day-to-day issues related to Cyprus-flagged vessels, including crewing matters, security issues, obtaining client-requested exemptions, and addressing other legal and procedural concerns that may arise.

Andria advises clients on corporate, commercial, M&A, and regulatory matters. She provides legal counsel on share purchase agreements and shareholders’ agreements, and is actively involved in legal due diligence reviews for transactions. Furthermore, Andria handles cross-border transactions, including mergers and the re-domiciliation of companies to and from Cyprus.

Andria regularly provides high-level legal advice on employment matters for Cyprus-based companies across various industries, as well as on migration-related issues.

She is also highly involved in matters concerning the financial markets industry and investment firms, providing ongoing legal support and advice on regulatory compliance, corporate, and commercial matters. Her practice extends to assisting with acquisitions and takeovers of Cyprus Investment Firms, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations set by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). Andria is registered with CySEC, having successfully passed the Advanced Examination.
