Her practice focuses on Insurance Law, Criminal Law and Family Law, as well as cross-border commercial litigation and corporate disputes.
Mikaelena is regularly instructed by high-net-worth individuals in relation to estate planning, drafting of wills and the administration of estates with cross-border elements. She also advises companies on a range of employment law matters, including contentious and advisory work.
She has extensive experience acting in claims concerning medical negligence, professional negligence, personal injury and employer’s liability. Mikaelena frequently represents clients before the Courts of Cyprus and is regularly instructed by leading insurance companies in the jurisdiction.
Mikaelena obtained her LL.B. from the University of Southampton in 2021. She subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction, together with an MSc in Law, Business and Management, at the University of Law in 2022.
