On 24th March 2016 it was published in the Cyprus Government Gazette, the law that puts into force the Agreement between the European Union and Central America.
The Association Agreement was signed on 29th June 2012 and aims to strengthen and consolidate the bonds between regions through Political Dialogue, Cooperation and Trade in a spirit of mutual respect as well as mutual interest.
Likewise the objective of the Agreement is to develop preferential political corporate based on values, principles and common goals, particularly on respect and the promotion of democracy and human rights, sustainable growth, sound administration and rule of law by commitment to promoting and protecting said values and principles on global scale, so that the corporate bond will contribute to the strengthening of the multilateral system.
