Andreas Lytras, Partner, attended the AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) Half-Year November Conference that took place in Luxembourg on 13-16 November 2024.

AIJA is a global association of lawyers and in-house counsels aged 45 and under. AIJA was established in 1962 and currently has a community of more than 6,000 people.

The Conference, titled “Empowering Global Success: Unleashing the Potential of International Structures in a Heavily Regulated World”, welcomed over 320 lawyers from more than 30 countries who had the opportunity to network and discuss core issues of their practice. The academic programme focused on exploring the international opportunities for efficient corporate and financing structuring, as well as the impact of the ever-increasing national and international regulations on cross-border businesses. Through interactive discussions in the various sessions, panellists and participants from different jurisdictions exchanged their views on the daily complexities in their respective field of expertise and explored the legal tools available in accommodating novel needs.

The social events organized by AIJA during the Conference was a unique experience and an even better opportunity to mingle with colleagues from around the globe.
