Marina Hadjisoteriou, Partner moderated the Cyprus Arbitration Days panel on Technology and Arbitration

We are pleased to share that Marina Hadjisoteriou, Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution of our Limassol office, moderated a panel of distinguished speakers from Israel, England, Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates, on Technology and Arbitration, during the second edition of the Cyprus Arbitration Days (‘CAD’). The CAD took place in Limassol between 19-22 May 2024. The session covered, amongst others, the popularity of using technology in each jurisdiction, the use and impact of the digitalisation in arbitration proceedings, the benefits and risks associated with the use of Artificial Intelligence (‘AI’) such as inherent biases, hallucinations, privacy and confidentiality issues. Additionally the speakers analysed and shared their experiences how they prepared when things might have gone wrong with technology during an arbitration procedure. They also shared their experience and expertise by sharing tips for best use of technology to make an arbitration more efficient.

Marina was also a member of the organising committee of CAD.
