Nick Kounoupias, Partner and Head of the IP Department at Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC participated as an invited speaker and IP expert at a round table discussion titled "How Research, Innovation, and Technology can drive the sustainable development of Cyprus's economy", organized and hosted by the Chief Scientist for Research and Innovation and the Research & Innovation Foundation on October 26th, 2023.
The event, which took place at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia and was moderated by Mr. Nikos Maroulis, Deputy Director of Technopolis Group Belgium, enabled the exchange of views on enhancing efforts to maximize national investments in Research, Innovation, and Technology.
Participants included representatives from research organizations and industry. Emphasizing on Mr. Kounoupias’ expertise, the office of the Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation and Technology of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Demetris Skouridis and the Director General of the Research and Innovation Foundation Mr. Theodoros Loukaidis thanked him for the insightful presentation and outstanding contribution as a speaker at the round table discussion, which was greatly valued by the event’s attendees.
