Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC participated in the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Litigation Forum organized by the IBA Litigation Committee.
The “IBA Annual Litigation Forum: Disruption in litigation – new types of disputes in a new world order” was held in Berlin, Germany on 8 – 10 May 2019 and focused on emerging issues particularly important for the international legal community.
Collective redress, geopolitics in court (sanctions and embargoes, human rights, climate change litigation), disputes arising from artificial intelligence, and cryptocurrencies were the main topics covered during the conference’s working sessions.
Among the participants were practitioners from world-renowned law firms who had the opportunity to express their opinion on the topics discussed. Our firm was represented by Andreas Lytras, Associate of the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Arbitration team.
