ESMA: Call for evidence on asset segregation

The European Securities Markets Authority (ESMA) has issued on 28th of September 2016 the responses to the Call for evidence in relation to Asset Segregation concerning the following stake holders:

  • Depositaries of alternative investment funds and UCITS and their delegates (including prime brokers and collateral managers) and their trade associations
  • Alternative investment funds and UCITS managers and their trade associations, as well as
  • Institutional and retail investors investing into such funds and their associations
