Cyprus IP Day – Celebrating innovation and creativity

On April 26th, 2023 Cyprus Intellectual Property (IP) Day will bring together acclaimed local and international speakers and IP experts sharing their insights and expertise on the importance of identifying, managing and protecting ones Intellectual Property.

Cyprus IP Day is celebrated in recognition of the critical role that IP plays in fostering and promoting innovation in Cyprus. The event is part of a series of events hosted around the globe on World Intellectual Property (IP) Day, which is observed worldwide every year on April 26th, to celebrate the power of innovation and creativity and to explore how intellectual property (IP) supports our drive to build a better future. This year’s theme of World Intellectual Property Day recognises Women and IP: Accelerating innovation and creativity.

Speakers at the event include Nick Kounoupias - IP Consultant, UK IP Champion and CEO of Kounoupias IP, Jonathan Pratt - Partner and European Patent Attorney in the Engineering and Designs group at European intellectual property firm Boult Wade Tennant, Agis Charalambous – Associate at Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC, and Juliana Saavedra – Entrepreneur and Founder of Appreci ®, a unique, streamlined, one stop shop family services platform.

Cyprus IP Day is hosted at the offices of Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC in Nicosia from 4pm-7pm. Speaker presentations are followed by a networking cocktail.
