The Conference covered topics such as the implementation of the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement, ECHR interpretation and recent developments across the European common law jurisdictions, Company law developments in participating European Common Law jurisdictions, The role of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies in a Digital Economy and Sanctions from a legal and financial perspective<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The welcome address was given by the Chair of the Bar Council of England and Wales \u2013 Samuel Townend KC followed by the president of the Cyprus Bar Association, Mr. Vorkas.
