Socrates has obtained a Bachelor of Law (LLB) with Honours from University College London in 2018. He was called to the Bar of the Middle Temple in 2019, having successfully completed the BPTC course at City Law School, while also obtaining a Master's degree in Bar Professional Practice. Socrates is an accredited civil and commercial mediator, having successfully completed a mediation training course with a CMC accredited provider.

Since August 2019 he has practised law in England and Wales as a self-employed solicitor's agent, having attended over 400 hearings in both the County Court and High Court. His field of interest includes personal insolvency, banking and landlord and tenant matters, with experience in a wide range of interim hearings and applications under the CPR 1998.

Socrates joined the firm in September 2021 as a trainee, and is currently a consultant in its London offices.
