Dr David Meli was awarded a law degree from the University of Malta and was also conferred a Bachelor of Law and a Diploma of Notary Public. He then proceeded and obtained his Doctorate of Laws after having defended his thesis entitled “Remote Gaming: An Analytical Appraisal of Changes Brought about by Jurisdiction, Practices and Case Law." He is duly admitted by warrant granted under the public seal of Malta to practise the profession of advocate in Malta. Having previously worked with a number of multinational companies, David specialised in Information Technology and Electronic Commerce law with a further specialisation in international online gaming law.

David is currently a partner at Michael Kyprianou & Co. LLC law firm, he is one of two Partners currently working from the Malta office of the firm, which office offers a full range of legal services to both locals and foreigners looking to do business on the island. David has over 10 years experience in company and commercial legal matters and is highly specialised in the online gaming field. He also specialises in immigration law and immovable property having advised clients and banks alike in the past.
