Andria Kouloumi is in the corporate and commercial team of Michael Kyprianou & CO LLC. She is based in Limassol, Cyprus. She joined the firm in 2017.

Andria focuses on corporate, commercial and maritime matters.

She is regularly engaged to assist and advise on various maritime and shipping-related matters. She represents leading shipping companies in Cyprus, acting as their legal advisors, and assists and advises them as to their legal and corporate matters relating to Cyprus including acquisitions, reorganisations and restructurings. Andria is also responsible for the registration of vessels under the Cyprus flag as well as for the re-flagging of vessels under foreign flags. She is also addressing any day-to-day issues relating to Cyprus-flagged vessels including crewing matters, security issues, obtaining exemptions as these may be requested from clients from time to time as well as any other legal and procedural matters as these may arise.

Andria also advises clients on corporate and commercial, M&A and regulatory matters. She is providing legal advice as to share purchase agreements and shareholders’ agreements whereas she is also involved in legal due diligence reviews for the completion of such transactions. Andria is also handling and advising as to cross-border transactions including cross-border mergers and re-domiciliation of companies from and outside the Republic of Cyprus.  

Andria also regularly provides high-level legal advice in relation to employment matters of Cyprus companies in various industries as well as to migration matters.

Andria is also highly involved with matters relating to financial markets industry and investment firms providing ongoing legal support and advice to leading investment firms in Cyprus as to their regulatory, compliance, corporate and commercial matters. Her practise and expertise expand to include assistance in acquisitions and take-overs of Cyprus Investment Firms in line with their regulatory obligations towards the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. Andria is also registered with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission having passed the Advanced Examination.
