Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association – WISTA 34th Annual General Meeting
The 34th Annual General Meeting (AMG) of WISTA was held in Limassol, Cyprus. Nearly 300 WISTA members and conference attendees from 35 countries took part in this major shipping event. The theme of the conference was “Shipping Connects”.
During the conference, panels of distinguished professionals discussed recent developments in the shipping sector, offshore energy, chartering and S&P markets and ship finance. The conference focused on the many ways the shipping industry connects people, nations, cultures, genders, organisations, past and future.
Esme Palas, an advocate of the firm and member of WISTA Cyprus, attended the event. Esme is a member of the Paphos office. She is specialized in the shipping and admiralty law, corporate and finance law, and immovable property law.
