Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC is pleased to announce that Mr Peter Schodder has joined us as our new Head of Shipping. Mr Schodder’s valuable industry knowledge and experience will complement our shipping team’s highly-rated shipping services.
Mr Schodder has extensive experience in the shipping industry having worked in Cyprus and abroad in a number of operational and executive roles for well-known shipping companies for over 30 years. He has dealt with crew management as well as full vessel management (tankers, dry cargo and offshore units). More recently, he was appointed as the General Manager and Owners Representative of a ship management company’s Manila office, managing all relevant matters of a BPO unit and the company owned recruitment, travel and training centre.
During this period, he was an active member of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, and represented Cyprus at the ISF, IMO, Intermanager and BIMCO. He was also briefly the Chairman of the Intermanager Manning and Training Committee and acting Chairman as well as Vice Chairman of the Manning and Training Committee and member of the ISF/BIMCO Manpower survey 2010 and 2015.
