The 1980 Tax Immovable Property Law was amended by Law N. 140(I)/2015. More specifically, Law N. 140(I)/2015 amends Article 3.
The amending Article offers 20% discount on the owed immovable property tax if the tax is paid online or at any bank organisation. However if the tax is paid directly at any tax office, then 17, 5% discount is given.
All citizens who wish to receive either discount must pay the tax by 30 November 2015. Otherwise, the deadline for the payment is 31 December 2015.
