One of the Government\u2019s latest proposals is the abolition of the annual levy of \u20ac350, which was payable by all companies registered in the Registrar of Companies. The decision to abolish the annual levy will be applicable from 2024 onwards.<\/p>\n
On February 29, 2024, the House of Representatives considered the Government’s proposal under the emergency procedure and voted in favour on the same day.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that the annual levy was first imposed in 2011 as part of fiscal consolidation measures.<\/p>\n
