We are happy to announce that MICHAEL KYPRIANOU will be represented at the Maritime Services Exhibition which will take place in Limassol between 10-13 October 2022, at the Carob Mill Conference Centre in conjunction with the \u201cMaritime Cyprus\u201d 2022 Conference.<\/p>\n
The „Maritime Cyprus“ Conference, taking place in person between 9-12 October 2022, is organised every two years by the Shipping Deputy Ministry in cooperation with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and the Cyprus Union of Shipowners. It was first established in 1989 and, since then, has grown into one of the world\u2019s most significant and most attended shipping conferences attracting to Cyprus approximately 800 shipping executives from around the world.<\/p>\n
Operating as a forum where crucial matters relating to international shipping are discussed by distinguished shipping experts, the Conference aims to help formulate sound and well-balanced decisions and policies on challenging shipping issues. Topics concerning the continuously evolving maritime industry, ranging from decarbonisation, \u2018green ship\u2019 financing approaches, digital transformation, autonomous vessels, seafarers\u2019 welfare and rights will be on the top of the Conference agenda.<\/p>\n
The Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization, the European Commissioner for Transport, the Presidents of the International Chamber of Shipping, ECSA, BIMCO as well as renowned shipowners and world class experts of the maritime sector, will be amongst the leaders of the shipping industry participating in this year\u2019s event!<\/p>\n
