Mr. Savvas Savvides, Partner of Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC, has recently given an interesting and most enlightening interview to the digital newspaper PaphosNet on the topic of the issuing of title deeds for immovable property.
Particularly, Mr. Savvides has pointed out the solution of the current problem of the transfer of the title deeds to the purchasers, a new practice should be adopted and legislative frameworks of European countries should be implemented with more simple procedures on the sale of an immovable property and simultaneous transfer of the ownership and possession of the property to the forthcoming buyer.
Mr. Savvides reported extensively and analysed the forthcoming bill that the Government intends to submit in order to resolve this problem.
